Fifty years of papers and memorabilia focusing on Truman’s political and family life. Collection of gifts received during his presidency, his piano used while in Washington and a custom-built Lincoln limousine are displayed here. A replica of Truman’s Oval Office is recently refurbished, and the White House Gallery is new. Thomas Hart Bent’s mural, “Independence and the Opening of the West” is here.
